PARKING NOTICE

Posted by Gerald Cowen on Apr 07 2007 at 05:00PM PDT

Because of the limited parking that's available at Anderson and the needs of the American Legion, who allow us to use the facility, we are required to restrict access to the Hunt Avenue entrance to handicapped individuals and selected volunteers. No one should park in the roadway between Bocket Field (Major Boys) and the entrance. NO ONE MAY PARK IN THE AMERICAN LEGION LOT.  We ask your cooperation in using the Verizon Wireless parking lot.

Verizon Wireless has been of great assistance to us, in providing parking for our families. All they ask is that we park in the designated parking spaces (any space not marked reserved or restricted).  A small minority, however, had been parking along the curbs and in restricted areas at VW.  This caused the League great embarrassment, and almost caused Verizon Wireless to re-evaluate their decision to open their lots to us (which would have left the League in an untenable position).  The parking sticker policy, instituted in 2007, improved matters greatly.  The identification number on the sticker helps us to identify violators.  Pearl River Little League and Verizon Wireless reserve the right to rescind parking privileges to any individual or family that parks illegally at Verizon Wireless.

We urgently request that you honor our neighbor's rules and park only in the designated spaces.  Thank you.

KAYSER-BRADY TOURNAMENT FAMILIES WILL RECEIVE A SPECIAL PARKING PASS (THESE WILL BE GIVEN TO YOUR TEAM MANAGER) THAT MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE VERIZON WIRELESS SECURITY PERSON AT THE ENTRANCE BOOTH.
